About the South Portland Neighborhood Association

The South Portland Neighborhood Association is the city recognized neighborhood association for the area just south of downtown Portland, Oregon. (See maps below) The neighborhood association was one of the first two neighborhood associations recognized by the city of Portland in the 1970s. The NA represents many smaller neighborhoods within the boundarys including Lair Hill, South Waterfront, Corbett, Johns Landing, Terwilliger and Fulton. We are an all volunteer organization made up of the people who live and work in South Portland. The NA has a 15 member board elected for 2 year positions from the neigborhood.  There are also several committees that work on neighborhood issues.  There is a always a lot to do and we are always needing more help if you have a little extra time.
